(March 21, 2018) OMRI (the Organic Materials Review Institute), North America’s largest input review program for the organic industry, has grown to include over 6,000 products OMRI Listed® for organic use.

(November 28, 2017) Peggy Miars, Executive Director/CEO for OMRI (the Organic Materials Review Institute) in Eugene, Oregon, was elected president of the IFOAM-Organics International World Board at their General Assembly November 12 in New Delhi, India.

(August 29, 2017) Alexis Randolph of Quality Assurance International (QAI) has joined the Board of Directors for OMRI (the Organic Materials Review Institute). OMRI's volunteer board oversees policy development and governance for the organization.

(August 24, 2017) Peggy Miars, Executive Director/CEO for OMRI (the Organic Materials Review Institute) will travel from Eugene, Oregon to Odessa, Ukraine next month to participate in an international conference addressing fraud in the organic industry.

(June 6, 2017) OMRI (the Organic Materials Review Institute) announces that the organization has reached 5,000 OMRI Listed® products reviewed and verified for organic use. OMRI most recently added 1,000 products since April of 2016, a new record for the Eugene, Oregon nonprofit that started 20 years ago.

(March 14, 2017) OMRI is pleased to announce that Ben Dobson has joined their Board of Directors as a farmer representative. Ben grew up in Hillsdale, New York, and he has owned and managed several farms throughout the Northeast. In 2007 Ben founded Atlantic Organics, which was the largest organic fresh vegetable farm in the state of Maine.

(September 20, 2016) OMRI (the Organic Materials Review Institute) is honoring its many founders and supporters over two decades of materials review with a snapshot of the organization's many accomplishments, along with commemorative publications and events throughout the coming year.

(April 27, 2016) OMRI (The Organic Materials Review Institute) recently exceeded 4,000 products reviewed and listed for organic use. OMRI Listed® products are compliant with the organic standards and allowed for use in certified organic production. The nonprofit organization is approaching 20 years supporting organic certification through expert, independent product reviews.

(January 19, 2016) OMRI (the Organic Materials Review Institute) is pleased to welcome Darren MacFarlane of Bridgewell Resources and Sheryl K. Reilly, Ph.D. of SciReg, Inc. to the organization's board of directors. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, OMRI relies on the board of directors to provide governance and oversight to organizational policies and the strategic plan.
