Allowed if made only from feedstock materials that are shown as 'Allowed' in this Generic Materials List. Worm castings that contain less than 1x10³ (1,000) MPN fecal coliform per gram of worm castings sampled and contain less than 3 MPN Salmonella per 4 grams of worm castings sampled may be used without restriction. Worm castings made from uncomposted manure feedstocks or made from other permitted nonsynthetic or synthetic feedstocks but that contains more than 1x10³ (1,000) MPN fecal coliform per gram of worm castings sampled or contains more than 3 MPN Salmonella per 4 grams of worm castings sampled does not conform to standards for "Worm Castings – allowed" and is subjected to the same restrictions as raw manure.
