Gibberellic Acid

Nonsynthetic
Acceptable if made from a fermentation process and not fortified with prohibited synthetic substances. Fermentation process must not use genetically modified organisms. See also GROWTH REGULATORS FOR PLANTS. May be used as a pesticide if the requirements of 205.206(e) are met, which requires the use of preventative, mechanical, physical, and other pest, weed, and disease management practices.
